Tours
At the Powell River historical Museum & Archives (PRHMA) we encourage our visitors to explore on their own. We are also happy to offer staff or volunteer-led tours upon request. Join our friendly and knowledgeable staff and volunteers as they focus on particularly interesting displays within the museum and share local stories of the past. Average tour time is 20 minutes.
For large parties or groups that would like to book a staff-led tour please contact us a minimum of one week in advance.

Educational Programming
Because education is a core component of our mission, we strive to make all of our exhibits inspiring and educational for children of all ages.
In addition, we can customize a tour for your group with age-appropriate activities to maximize the experience for your particular class. With advance arrangement, we are more than happy to work with teachers to design a special presentation or activity to help them meet their educational objectives.
