Women's Mill Coveralls

Object ID: 2014.82.1     

This object is the outfit worn by the eighty plus women who worked at the mill during WWII, replacing some of the men who had gone off to war, and the "Boeing Women" who were hired to fabricate plane parts. It consists of white cotton overalls, produced by the brand Kitchen Peabody.
