Research Requests

We offer both in-person research as well as distance research. Requests must apply to the qathet Regional District or the City of Powell River, and fall within the scope of the PRHMA.

Archival Collection


The PRHMA’s archives preserve and provide access to the records of the activities of community members in the qathet Regional District from the late 19th century to the present day. It includes a substantial collection of photographs, newspapers, books, papers, maps, and architectural drawings contributed by our community.
