Powell River Historical Archives

The PRHMA’s archives preserve and provide access to the records of the activities of community members in the qathet Regional District from the late 19th century to the present day. It includes a substantial collection of photographs, newspapers, books, papers, maps, and architectural drawings contributed by our community.

Tuesday to Friday, 10:00–3:00 pm.  Making an appointment is strongly recommended. Contact us here.

Reduced rates are available for students, teachers, non-profits, and registered community groups. Please contact Museum Staff to discuss options.

RESEARCH SERVICES
​Staff conducted reference and research service fees are waived for the first 15 minutes. For research requiring more than 15 minutes, there is an hourly fee of $20.00. ​
