Welcome to the Powell River Museum & Archives - services and fees
The Archives' collections are open to all for research. Although an appointment is not necessary to use Archives materials, a phone call may save you time or an unnecessary trip. Staff can answer questions, refer you to appropriate materials, or help you plan a research visit.
Note that some materials may be restricted from use for reasons of privacy or for conservation as they may be too fragile to view.
It is the user's responsibility to identify the copyright owner and to obtain all necessary clearances before using the material. This approval must be given to the Museum staff before the materials are issued to the user.
Fees: For researchers who are not able to visit the archives there is a fee schedule and you are requested to fill in the on-line form. Payment to be received before the completed research work is sent to you.
